1. Acceptance of Terms
By using the Cursive Media website or engaging our services, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the Website or request services.
2. Services
We offer web & app development, automation, AI integration, and reputation management, plus specialist Zapier and GoHighLevel builds. The exact scope, deliverables, and timeline for any engagement are set out in your proposal, invoice, or dashboard, and those documents govern where they’re more specific than these Terms.
3. Payment
Project work is quoted and invoiced per engagement. Retainers are billed upfront on a monthly recurring basis unless an annual cycle is agreed in writing. Late payment may pause active work until the account is current.
4. Cancellations & Pauses
You may pause or cancel a monthly retainer at any time by giving 30 days’ written notice via your dedicated Slack channel or our support email. Fees already invoiced for work performed are non-refundable.
5. Intellectual Property
Once your final invoice for a project is paid in full, you own the deliverables built specifically for you (code, designs, content). We retain ownership of our own pre-existing tools, templates, and frameworks used to build them, and grant you a license to use those as embedded in your deliverables. All content, branding, and code on this Website belong to Cursive Media.
6. Third-Party Services
Our work often integrates third-party platforms (GoHighLevel, Zapier, Google, Meta, and similar). We’re not responsible for those platforms’ outages, pricing changes, or policy changes, and your use of them is subject to their own terms.
7. Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability
The Website and our services are provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Website or our services. Our total liability for any claim is capped at the fees you paid us in the three months before the claim arose.
8. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Harris County, Texas.
9. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms as our services evolve. The date at the top reflects the latest revision; continued use of the Website after a change means you accept it.
